The Story of Upenyu Mutsumba

Upenyu’s journey is a testament to the power of community, diversity, leadership and technical expertise. He spent his formative years in the bustling city of Bulawayo, surrounded by the Ndebele culture. His leadership skills and the ability to unite people from diverse backgrounds stood out brightly during his time as Headboy at Thekwane High School in Plumtree.

Eventually settling in Harare, Zimbabwe's capital he embarked on a transformative journey of professional growth. Starting with apprenticeship training which helped him gain hands-on technical experience. His role at Stanserv Genuine Services allowed him to refine his technical skills while prioritizing safety and precision.

With an insatiable appetite for knowledge, Upenyu pursued further education where he earned his BTech. This academic foundation, combined with his technical experience, solidified his expertise and passion for calibration
